Saralya AI terms of use

These terms apply when you use Saralya AI. By using it, you agree to them.

1. What Saralya AI is

Saralya AI is an AI assistant on saralya.in, free to use within an allowance, for questions about loans, credit and lending in India. It is operated by Saralya Tech Solutions Private Limited (“Saralya”, “we”).

Saralya is a technology provider. It is not a lender, not an NBFC and not an adviser, and Saralya AI does not arrange loans.

2. Not advice

Answers are generated by an AI model. They are general information, and they can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. They are not a loan offer or approval, and not financial, legal, tax or investment advice.

Before you act on anything that matters — borrowing, lending, a credit decision or a compliance position — check it with your lender or a qualified professional. Only a regulated lender can tell you what it will lend you, and on what terms.

3. Who may use it

• You must be 18 or older.
• You can ask a few questions without an account. A free account is created with a one-time code sent to your mobile number or email.
• One account per person. Do not share your account or use someone else's.
• Keep your device, phone and email secure: anyone who can read your one-time code can sign in as you.

4. Acceptable use

Use Saralya AI for questions about loans, credit and lending. Do not:

• use it for anything unlawful, abusive or fraudulent — including to mislead a lender, alter documents or get around KYC
• try to extract its system prompts or instructions, or to bypass its safeguards or limits
• scrape it, or use bots, scripts or other automated means to access it
• disrupt the service, probe its security, or interfere with other users

5. What you share

• Do not share Aadhaar, PAN, bank account or card numbers, or passwords. Saralya AI does not need them. We remove such identifiers automatically where we detect them, but detection is not perfect.
• Upload only files you are entitled to share.
• If what you share includes other people's personal data — a customer's, an employee's, a family member's — you need their consent or another lawful basis under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
• For lenders: a loan tape you open in the portfolio tool is processed in your browser, and only aggregate figures reach Saralya — unless you choose to keep the file in your Saralya workspace, in which case the file is uploaded and stored with your account.

6. Free allowance and limits

Saralya AI is free to use within an allowance, counted in tokens — what you send and what Saralya AI writes. Tokens, tools and profiles are limited; people who verify a work email get a larger allowance. We may change those limits, or pause a feature or the service, at any time — for example to control cost or to stop abuse. If you want more than the free allowance, you can buy a token pack (section 7).

7. Token packs and refunds

• Prepaid tokens. A token pack is a one-time purchase of tokens for your Saralya AI account, at the price shown when you buy it (GST included). It is not a subscription and does not renew.
• No expiry. Tokens you buy can be used at any time until they are spent. They are used once your free allowance for the day or the month is used up, so they carry on past both limits.
• Payments by Razorpay. Payments are processed by Razorpay. Saralya does not see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
• Refunds. A pack you have not used can be refunded in full if you ask within 7 days of buying it — write to the address in section 14 with the order reference. Tokens you have already used are not refundable.

8. Your content and ours

• You keep the rights to what you write and upload.
• You give Saralya the licence it needs to host, process and use that content to provide the service to you, as described in our privacy policy.
• Answers are for your own use, at your own risk.
• The Saralya name, logo, website and software belong to Saralya.

9. Privacy

What Saralya AI collects, why, how long we keep it, and how to download or delete it is set out in the Saralya AI section of our privacy policy.

10. Suspension and ending

You can stop using Saralya AI at any time, and delete your account from saralya.in/saralya-ai#/account. Deleting your account erases your chats, files and profile.

We may limit, suspend or close access where we reasonably believe these terms are being broken or the service is being misused, or where the law requires it.

11. Liability

Saralya AI is provided “as is” and “as available”, without any promise that answers are accurate, complete or fit for a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, Saralya is not liable for decisions made on the basis of its answers, or for any loss arising from them or from the service being unavailable.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at New Delhi have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and show material changes in Saralya AI.
